Food Parcel Packing 食物銀行福袋包裝

Eleven volunteers visited the Feeding Hong Kong warehouse located in Yau Tong. Upon arrival, they were given a brief tour of the warehouse by the Feeding Hong Kong staff. After the tour, the volunteers sorted and repackaged donated food items, carefully checking their expiry dates. The assortment of food included cup noodles, juices, water, and snacks. This experience provided the students with a deeper understanding of the challenges related to poverty and food waste. They also learned about the significant role that food banking and donations from companies play in addressing these issues.
