DSE Science Tutorial Team DSE 幫緊「理」幫緊你

Candidates sitting Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) faced exceptional challenges amid the pandemic. To provide educational support for students from less-resourced families, HKUST Connect collaborated with the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong to offer free online tutoring to senior secondary students in need. Volunteer tutors taught science subjects for secondary school students from grassroots families Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. In this service, volunteers learned more about the challenges faced by students from low-income families in the education system.
