WebOrganic i‧Mentorship 2019-20 「有機上網」 i‧師友計劃 2019-20

The program aims at providing quality education on information and communication technology to children and youth from underprivileged families. HKUST volunteers served as mentors for the children and youth and organized diverse activities for the mentees.

Volunteers received training from WebOrganic and other non-profit organizations, then attended workshops on the topics "STEM", "Digital Citizenship", "Digital Entrepreneurship" and "Social Innovative Idea Proposal" with their mentees. After the workshops, volunteers organized several meetings and activities for their mentees and accompanied them to apply what they have learned during the workshops to alleviate social problems using innovative technology. 

Unfortunately, due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the program was suspended so some volunteers were not able to complete the program with their mentees.
