Volunteer introduced different election frauds to HKUST students so that they can avoid falling into the same pitfalls in the future.

Upholding honesty and preventing corrupt and illegal conduct in election, Hong Kong Independent commission Against Corruption (ICAC) holds Clean Election Exhibition in different tertiary institutions every year.

In October 2019, HKUST Connect helped promote the importance of clean elections on campus before the 2019 District Council Election. Through the three-day promotion, volunteers set up booths and led games to drive home the message of clean and fair election to every HKUST member. Under this program, visitors were able to identify different election frauds and avoid falling into these traps.

This was a very meaningful activity. Students learned more about fair election and were encouraged to vote in the coming District Council Election.

HKUST members visited the promotion booth and played booth games.
