HKUST volunteers served as mentors for children from deprived families in this programme. Both mentors and mentees took part in workshops and seminars on a variety of themes, including "STEM", "Digital Citizenship" and "Digital Entrepreneurship". Our volunteers accompanied their mentees to apply what they have learned to alleviate social problems using innovative technology.
After half a year, they not only learned more about STEM, but also developed strong bonds with one another.
