Volunteers helping with the labor work

To preserve Fung Yuen (鳳園) as one of the best places to appreciate butterflies in South East Asia, volunteers helped to maintain the butterfly habitat that is home to over 200 species of butterflies, and learned about the work of the Reserve.

It’s a great experience to help out in conserving butterflies in Hong Kong while sweating out and exercising on Sunday.
This is also a wonderful way to spend some time away from air-conditioning and into the nature.
Didn’t know there were 250+ butterfly species in Hong Kong!

SSCI

Being a volunteer in Fung Yuen is a very rewarding experience because we can help protect the butterfly reserve, which is unique in HK. Also what we have done will create a better environment for the future tourists.
