Volunteers walked from HKUST to Pak Shui Wun, Sai Kung to clean up the beach. Volunteers cleaned up the beach under the sunshine for 2 hours and successfully picked 6 bags of rubbish.
Student Sharing
The service allows me to realize how badly people damaging the environment, especially when we dug out a big piece of plastic immersed in the beach. I hope there will be more opportunity to clean the environment

這是我第一次進行沙灘清潔活動。本來以為活動會相當輕鬆，但原來在烈日當中下，撿垃圾並不如想像中輕鬆。可想而知沙灘清潔者為維持沙灘潔淨勞心勞力。大家到沙灘時記得不要亂拋垃圾，減少清潔者的工作量。
