UN Sustainable Development Goals
Co-operating with grassroots women in the Sham Shui Po community, volunteers cooked and delivered Chinese soup to the elderly living alone in the area. Through visiting the elderly singletons, HKUST volunteers showed their care to them and learnt more about their needs.
Student Sharing
今次的活動很有意義，由義工與婦女一起買菜，準備材料，以及一同去探訪長者。活動比過往派湯的服務更能夠認識社區的長者，更方便與長者詳談。
Daisy
今次參加了「吾湯吾水」的活動。由採購食材開始到準備、煮湯、和上門探訪長者，實在是獲益良多。以往只在新聞上了解過劏房的環境，並未親身到訪。今天親身到兩戶劏房進行探訪，才發現生活環境的簡陋、狹窄。長者的積極樂觀，感染到作為義工的我。
知足常樂！珍惜眼前人！
