Volunteers interacting with the children

A team of Connect ACE (Ambassador for Community Engagement) 2017/18 cooperated with "The Salvation Army Chai Wan Integrated Service for Young People" to organize this 3-session service project, which aimed at educating the young generation to change their consumption habits through an EcoPark visit and interactive activities.

HKUST Volunteers designed a board game to teach the children about environmental issues in Hong Kong. The recipients were excited towards the interactive games and gained more knowledge on how to live an environmentally friendly life. Both the volunteers and children enjoyed the session and had fun.

Student Sharing

當初我話要學下點樣同小朋友相處,我覺得呢個活動真係獲益良多!我覺得成個活動好有意義!又可以識多D環保的野,又可以服務下小朋友,比佢哋快樂。總括嚟講,係開心嘅!

Through these 3 sessions of “Kids Go Green”. I have got a great chance to interact with children. This improved my communication with children. Also, I have learned a lot of new knowledge related to environmental protection. I will be more environmental-friendly in the future.
