Crossroads Foundation is a HK-based NGO that links commercial and individual donors to those in need both in Hong Kong and around the world. Through providing logistic support, sorting different donation materials, or helping with reparation and maintenance work, volunteers are making a difference to the lives of people living in vulnerable circumstances.

Description

It was a remarkable volunteering experience. There were lots of materials donated by individuals or organisations for the poor. I just understood that we have more than enough resources in HK than we even know. It is meaningful to give these resources for people who need help from us in the world.

The volunteer experience in Crossroad Foundation is fun. Breaking stuff is what I always wanted to do. This time, I was assigned to the task of deconstructing hard discs and perform system tests on a computer. Technical but challenging. I enjoyed what I did today and feel that 'Crossroad' is a different charitable organization.
