In response to the rapid growth of food prices, Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service (BOKSS) has been providing inexpensive meals for low-income families helping to ease the financial burden of the underprivileged communities. Apart from food services, the organization has extended their services provision to underprivileged children. HKUST volunteers were recruited to provide tutorial classes and play interactive games with these children after meals in the canteen.

這個活動很好玩，本來報名期望可以跟一班小朋友玩遊戲。到達之後，見到小朋友真的很活潑、很可愛，和他們玩得非常開心，十分喜歡他們，渡過了好愉快的2個小時，希望以後有更多機會可以再參加。
雖然到訪過其他童心飯堂做義工，但每次的經歷都是新奇、刺激的，遇到突發情況、情緒問題仍不懂處理，但也是一次學習歷程，能見證小朋友的不同情緒面目，也展露他們可愛的一面，十分感恩。
