HI Friends! 「聲」「聲」相惜
Mrs Choi Ma Oi Kuen Public Service Leadership Program Award (PSL) is a year-long development program which aims to develop students' leadership skills and a sense of social commitment through training and social service project.
One of the Public Service Leaders (PSLs) partnered with Hong Kong Association of the Deaf to launch a service project for hearing impaired people (HIP) to communicate with university students. Through interacting with the HIP in mass games and handicraft-making sessions, volunteers became more aware of the difficulties that HIP might encounter while showing care and support.

雖然這不是我第一次接觸聽障人士，Connect 卻給予我一次新鮮的聽障人士的服務經驗。服務對象除了有小朋友之外，更有其他年齡階層的人，每個年齡階層也有不同的需要和手語的程度，這讓我學會更多跟他們溝通的技巧。若再有機會，我會再主動接觸有不同需要的人士。

參加完「Hi Friends!「聲」「聲」相惜」，最大的感觸是見到一班小朋友和老人家即使身體有不方便的地方，但依照笑容滿臉地和義工們一齊玩遊戲和做手工，樂觀和笑容是這次義工活動給予我的最大回報。手語學習也是對我非常新奇的部分。
