Interactive English activities

HKUST volunteers designed and organized a series of interactive games and activities to teach children English in a fun way as well as to help the children de-stress from the pressure of study. Both the volunteers and children enjoyed the activities and their time together.

Description

Playing with children can be a rewarding and challenging opportunity. From preparing for the games a month ago, I’ve spent much effort on the program. The smiles on children’s faces are more important than anything else. Service learning is definitely a golden chance for you to help others and know yourself.

A fun day for children. That’s what we organized, though it didn’t go exactly as planned. There was a lot of effort and planning put into this and I’m so glad to be able to participate in such an activity. This is by no means an easy task. Kids are not as easy to control as you think but they’re all special in their own way. Everyone did a great job!
