UN Sustainable Development Goals
Uni-Y (HKUST) initiated a project for children from new immigrant family to know more about Hong Kong so as to let them adapt to their new lives in Hong Kong and increase their self-esteem. The volunteers introduced them to the history of Hong Kong through a detective game held in Cheung Chau. They also showed care and love to the children which made them feel welcomed to Hong Kong society.

這次活動很充實亦很有意義，可以去平時較少去的長洲，又可以去學習如何與小朋友相處，今次的活動是1對1，而我帶的小朋友是比較靜而又識照顧人。除了我帶的小朋友，我亦可以觀察到不同小學生的性格。他們的性格各有不同，傾談的話題其實和我們小時候沒有太大分別，不外乎Pokemon Go之類。這次的活動改變了我對小朋友的看法。其實與小朋友的相處沒有我想像中難，以後有類似活動希望我能參加。

經過今天與小朋友一同參加的活動，令我對現今小朋友的思考方法和知識層面有更多了解。同時也令我感到，不管是現在的小朋友，還是十幾年前的小朋友，其實只要用心聆聽小朋友的聲音，就很容易拉進關係。
