Hike Without Trace
Volunteers learnt how to become responsible nature lovers and protect our natural environment during the 4-hour hike along the Ma On Shan Country Trail. They collected 8 bags of rubbish ranging from cans, tissues, food packages, cigarette butts, and plastic bottles to food waste. The team also recycled the rubbish collected when they arrived at the rubbish station on one of the estates at the end of the trail.

There was a lot of rubbish along the Hiking track. After we picked it up I realized the importance of being environmentally friendly and responsible for our own stuff. Rubbish should be placed in a rubbish bin and not dumped on the floor. We should enjoy the beautiful environment and fresh air provided by the Earth. We also need to treasure it and be responsible!
