A team of Connect ACE collaborated with Po Leung Kuk Wan Lam May Yin Shirley Neighbourhood Elderly Centre to organize a 3-session service project with the aim of bringing warmth and care to the elderly in Hong Kong, as well as to provide a platform for them to develop interests and knowledge of healthy living.

In this program, volunteers paid a home visit to the Elderly Singletons and got to know more about their everyday life. They also made different handicrafts at the second session. In the last session, the Elderly visited HKUST. Together with our volunteers they had fun playing interactive games in a lecture theatre and enjoyed lunch at the school canteen. The elderly singletons learned more about healthy living and the volunteers gained a better understanding of elderly singletons living in Hong Kong.
