HKUST Bread Run (Jan 2017)

A team of 31 students collected more than 400 pieces of surplus fresh bread from nearly 30 stores across Hong Kong at the Bread Run event organized by Feeding Hong Kong.

Bread that was collected was then delivered the next morning to 7 charities and schools including shelters for the homeless, migrant workers and women's refuges, as well as children homes, centers for senior daycare, refugee and new immigrant support, and other non-profit programs that provide food for people in need.
