Western Wholesale Food Market Flea Market cum Carnival @Ever Green Association

Since 2013, the local green group Ever Green Association has dedicated their efforts in alleviating the food waste problem, which contributes 36% of the total municipal solid waste in Hong Kong. The association participated in the Western Wholesale Food Market Flea Market cum Carnival to promote the message of reducing the amount of food waste in Hong Kong. Over 3,000 citizens visited the Market to purchase fresh vegetables, fruits and other food produce, and enjoyed various booth games and performances.  Students helped hosted booth games, introduced the poster panels and supported the fundraising efforts for the association at this large-scale event.
