Co-organized by the Hong Kong Special Olympics (HKSO) and the Hong Kong Sports Association for the Mentally Handicapped, the 40th HKSO Golf Competition (第四十屆香港特殊奧運會高爾夫球比賽) was held on 25 October 2016 and 15 November 2016. This event aims to enhance both physical and mental development of the intellectually challenged, and to connect them to the wider community. HKUST students served in different roles such as escorting participants and guests, and providing administrative support.
