Care for Carers - Mid-Autumn Festival Home Visit 護老家庭中秋探訪慶團圓

Because of aging and declining health, there are many Elderly who require care and assistance from their families in their everyday life. In this Mid-Autumn Festival, our volunteers, along with volunteers from Hong Kong Y.W.C.A. Ming Yue District Elderly Community Centre, visited these families of elders and their carers in the Sai Wan Ho and Quarry Bay area. Volunteers brought along some healthy mooncakes and fruits, and also taught the elderly small exercises that they can do daily. Through this opportunity, our students have brought their love and care to elders in our community, and also have learned more about the challenges that the elderly and their carers faced in Hong Kong.
