Walking in the dark!

This service project aimed at meeting the social needs of the visually impaired and helping them to integrate successfully into the community. In the two sessions of the service, volunteers showed their care for the visually impaired people through interactive games, soap making and outdoor activities. Service recipients and student volunteers both had a memorable experience together.

Description

This service for visually impaired people let me know that although they have some disabilities, they still have the courage and willingness to learn. The key element to communicate with them is to build trust and be patient. Hope I can have other chances to serve them in future.
