HKUST volunteers organized an event under the theme of healthy diet for senior citizens living in the Lam Tin community. The elderly participants learned about healthy eating through fun games and exercises, while the volunteers gained a better understanding of the elderly and were satisfied to see their happy faces.

I appreciate today’s experience very much. Seeing the elderly’s faces reminded me of my grandparents. They asked some questions about my life in HK that made me quite feel at home.

Fun Day with Elderly is definitely a meaningful and enjoyable service activity. Through engaging games, karaoke and chatting with the elderly, my sense of happiness boosted up. Hoping to have another chance to join such activity in the future.
