Volunteers having a walk with the dogs

This service aimed at raising students' awareness about animal welfare issues in Hong Kong. Volunteers served at a pet sanctuary for abandoned animals, Ping’s Pet Club, by walking and bathing strayed dogs residing at the sanctuary.

Description

This facility reminded me of many places that is similar to this. Homeless dogs and cats are waiting for the family which will adopt them and  treat them as part of the family. Each and every dog/cat/pet deserves to be loved, and I hope more people will know their plight and learn to adopt dogs which may not look good but still have their ownunique beauty. I wish there will be more similar opportunities in the future, and raise awareness about this issue to the society. These animals need to have a better environment to better their physical and mental health and live a happy life.
