HKUST volunteers assisted in preparing nutritious hot meals by using edible surplus food from different sectors of the food industry and packed them in meal boxes. The meal boxes were then redistributed to the underprivileged communities in Hong Kong.

Description
After serving in “Food saving with Food Angel”, I realize the importance of saving food to people in need, and I quite enjoy packaging lunch boxes to them. I believe that if all of us try to reduce food waste in our daily life, many more will be beneficial in this campaign. From now on, I will treasure what I have, and do my best to contribute a better living for the needy.
飽餐一頓對我們很多人而言或許只是一件再正常不過的事，然而對很多低收入家庭兒童和貧困長者來說卻非如此。透過是次服務，我們利用剩餘食材為他們準備熱飯盒，可謂一舉兩得。
