Co-organized by the Hong Kong Special Olympics (HKSO) and the Hong Kong Sports Association for the Mentally Handicapped, the 39th HKSO Track and Field Events (第三十九屆香港特殊奧運會分區田徑賽) was held during January and February 2015. The events aim at enhancing the physical and mental development of the intellectually disabled, and connecting them to a wider community. HKUST students served in different roles such as escorting participants and guests, and providing administrative support.
