The World Blind Union is an international organization representing about 280 million blinds and partially sighted people in 190 member countries. It consolidates all the major national and international organizations providing services for visually impaired communities around the globe.
The General Assembly is held in every four years with the aim of discussing the issues that would significantly affect the livelihood of the visually impaired community. Student volunteers from HKUST Connect provided support in escort service and registration counters.
