HKUST Bread Run (Nov 2014)

A team of 31 students collected surplus fresh bread from Maxim's Cakes stores across Hong Kong at the event organized by Feeding Hong Kong. The team collected more than 450 pieces from nearly 30 stores. In case you are interested to know about the result, the most that were collected from one store was 61!

Collected bread was then delivered to 5 charities including shelters for the homeless, migrant workers and women's refuges, senior day centers, refugee and new immigrant support centers, children's homes, and other non-profit programs that provide food for people in need.
