Beyond Intelligence 智窮人不窮

This is the fourth time for HKUST to cooperate with Lok Chi Association to serve the mentally challenged people. Three workshops were held to enhance their awareness of etiquette, safety and personal hygiene. Our student volunteers assisted in leading activities and games in the service in order to enhance the self-care ability of the mentally challenged and strengthen their confidence in community inclusion. With better understanding towards mentally challenged people, our students were able to appreciate and embrace people with similar situations.
