Congee Sharing @ Oi Man Estate

"Food . Share . Love" was a project initiated by a group of Connect ACE last year. Through distributing food to the needy, students learnt to cherish food and they also understood the needs of the underprivileged. "Congee Sharing @ Oi Man Estate" was part of their project which provided an opportunity for students to know more about the service philosophy of the restaurant owner Mr. Li Chung Hing (李松慶) and how he took the initiative to help the elderly. Students provided support in sharing congee to elders and cleaning up table. While some elders were waiting for congee, our volunteers chatted with them to know more about their daily life. Both the elders and our volunteers had a joyful morning in each service time.
