Kiddy Heart Canteen

In order to alleviate the financial burden of lower-income families to keep up with escalating food prices, Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service initiated the program - “Kiddy Heart Canteen” to offer inexpensive dinners for the community and have HKUST volunteers to offer homework tutorials for primary students from underprivileged families from time to time. Apart from their academic difficulties being eased, the children played with the volunteers in interactive games and explored new interests beyond their familiar surroundings.

This time, HKUST volunteers helped to prepare the party for the service recipients to welcome the auspicious Chinese New Year by playing games. Both the service recipients and the volunteers enjoyed the celebration a lot!
