Kiddy Heart Canteen 童心飯堂

In order to alleviate the financial burden of lower-income families due to escalating food prices, Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service initiated the program - “Kiddy Heart Canteen” to offer inexpensive dinners. HKUST volunteers started helping out in the program at Prince Edward since September. They provided tutorial classes and read English books with children who had difficulties in learning. They also designed a wide range of interactive games for the children so that they could explore new interests beyond their familiar surroundings.
