Every year, Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service Choi Hung Community Centre for Senior Citizens collaborates with other elderly centers within the Wong Tai Sin area to hold the annual Hearty Rice Dumplings for the Elderly programme. It aims to raise awareness of the needs of isolated elderly within the neighborhood community and to engage volunteers to show care and concern for them. During the event, volunteers brought the elderly gift bags and spent time chatting about their recent encounters.
