ENGAGE ‘Journey of Opportunity’ Action Day 2013 kicks off an 8-month mentorship program where corporate volunteers serve as mentors to youth from the Tin Shui Wai and Sham Shui Po areas. During the event, the youth visited the HKUST campus for a short university orienteering tour, a luncheon, and an interactive session with first-year students from HKUST. Through the activities and student sharing, the hope is that the youth can learn from the experiences of the student volunteers and be inspired to take up the challenge of attending university.
