UN Sustainable Development Goals
A group of volunteers got together to serve elders at the Alzheimer’s Community Support Centre. Before their service, the volunteers attended a training workshop focused on basic knowledge about the disease and techniques when communicating with individuals who have Alzheimer's. After the training, the volunteers designed games for the elders to play at the center's annual dinner. Both the elders and volunteers enjoyed their time together. Some of the volunteers served these elders again during HKUST Service Learning Day 2013.
