Bread Run

To celebrate World Food Day and Eradicate Poverty Day, a team of 7 students collected surplus fresh bread from Maxim's cake stores across Hong Kong as organized by Feeding Hong Kong. Our team collected more than 400 pieces of bread from 8 stores in the East Kowloon area, and in case you were wondering, the most collected from one store was 156 pieces! The bread was delivered early the next morning to 12 charities, including shelters for the homeless, migrant workers and women's refugees, senior day centers, refugee and new immigrant support centers, children's homes and other nonprofit programs that provide food for the hungry.
