Integrated Service Centre for Local South Asians

Since September 2012, HKUST Connect has initiated a long-term mentorship tutorial program for South Asian students living in the Sham Shui Po area. The main focus of the program is to offer small group tutorials to assist the students in learning Chinese and foster better mutual understanding between Chinese and South Asians. At the conclusion of the program, an outdoor outing is held for all the mentors and mentees. Everyone enjoyed the outing, and we are certain that the mentor and mentees have built valuable, lifelong relationships with one another through the program.
