We had a great day!

ENGAGE ‘Journey of Opportunity’ Action Day 2012 launched an 8-month mentorship programme where corporate volunteers served as mentors to youth from the Tin Shui Wai and Sham Shui Po areas to advise them about their education and employment plans. For many of the youth, this was their first time visiting a university and prior to this visit, very few of the young mentees had ever considered attending university after completing secondary school.

The purpose of this visit was to introduce the teens to university student volunteers so that they can learn more about the university experience, and be inspired to take up the challenge of attending university.
