The Buddy Reading Program is designed for young children (aged 6 to 8) to motivate them to read in English and to develop a love for reading. The reading sessions were divided into two parts, including group reading (with each volunteer taking turns reading to 8-12 children) and individual reading (1 volunteer to 1-3 children). The children were able to improve their reading skills, listening skills, and understanding of English through reading English stories in colorful picture books.
