Service Learning Day 2011 Student Leaders

The Service Learning Day Student Leader Program was first launched in 2011. 8 students from different schools and years of study engaged in the program to initiate service projects and support project coordination. They attended training workshops to learn more about the Service Learning Model, service project design, and project implementation since January 2011. During the HKUST SLDay, they initiated two service projects named “Run & Fun 共融奔Fun樂” and “童遊尋寶在科大”. Student leaders developed and executed the promotion plan for SLDay to mobilize the entire university population to serve together. With their support, SLDay 2011 was successfully executed with more than 600 University members participating in 36 service projects.
