The ‘Journey of Opportunity’ Action Day 2010 is designed to build the aspirations of young people and show them the opportunities that are available for further education and employment. It took place on Friday 16 April 2010 with 4 teams. Throughout the day, one of the team visited HKUST to understand the culture, environment and life in HKUST before visiting a corporate office.
During the visit, Dr Grace Au (Director of student affairs) and Monique Wong (Global Business Student) shared with participants about life in HKUST. After that, HKUST volunteers took the students to a lunch and a tour around HKUST, showing them the environment and aspired them.
