AEF Civic Fellow @Principal Chan Free Tutorial World (Kwai Chung) [Ref: AEF249-250306]*
Principal Chan Free Tutorial World was established in April, 2011. It is a Non-Profit Organization recognized by the HKSAR Government.With the support of many generous people in the society who have become their volunteer teachers, they provide absolutely free learning support to the under-privileged children who have financial difficulties.
Children at the grassroots level need to be exposed to and learn AI knowledge and skills as early as possible so they will not fall behind at the starting line again and can gain a foothold in the future AI technology society. Therefore, Principal Chan has established a new AI education center that focuses on providing students with free AI courses to help every interested student realize their potential and improve their skills. They are looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist us in promoting, organizing, and planning AI-related activities this summer.
Duties
- Design and teach courses on Artificial Intelligence (AI), including teaching materials and syllabus
- Organise workshops and lectures related to AI
- Draft articles to promote knowledge about AI
- Plan, manage and publicize different activities for under-privileged children
- Assist in Centre administration when required
Time Commitment
Full time: 16 Jun - 15 Aug 2025
Mon - Fri: 10am - 6pm
Subsidy
HK$22,000 subsidy upon satisfactory completion of the whole program.
Requirements
- Willing to learn new knowledge and adapt to rapidly changing environment
- Good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of computer science, data science, electrical engineering and related fields
