World Vision is committed to serving the vulnerable and poor. Their work includes emergency relief and sustainable development programmes that address the needs of the poor at different times by providing appropriate assistance and support. Locally, they organise advocacy campaigns and charity programmes to raise awareness of global issues in Hong Kong.

[Position A] 

Description

[CON257-250306] Global Citizen Internship (Marketing and Resource Development Executive)

Duties:

  • Assist in conducting market research and brainstorming creative ideas to support fundraising programs and initiatives.
  • Contribute to content development and idea generation for social media campaigns.
  • Support the planning and execution of innovative fundraising campaigns and events
  • Support teams to plan, develop, execute fundraising initiatives & event management;
  • Complete projects related to content creation, & social media marketing;
  • Perform competitive analysis to identify areas of opportunity

Requirements:

  • Good command of English and Chinese, both written and oral (including Putonghua) 
  • Proficient in PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing, knowledge in content management system, and Power BI an advantage 
  • Creative and good team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills 
  • Self-motivated, fast-learning, and resourceful
  • Previous exposure in NGO field

[Position B]

Description

[CON258-250306] Global Citizen Internship (Communications)

Duties:

  • Develop social media content to raise awareness on global issue and showcase World Vision’s works
  • Assist communications tasks such as translating, editing, researching and writing copies and video production etc.
  • Support and attend promotional events
  • Assist in the production of online puppet videos. Tasks may include scenes set up, acting and rehearsals, script writing, video shooting and editing, designing and making short videos
  • Assist in developing educational resources and learning materials that inspire young children to get connected and make impact to the world

Requirements:

  • Interested in pursuing a career in a humanitarian and relief organisation or educational contexts
  • Passionate on arousing public awareness on global poverty issues
  • Interested in children’s play, art/drama and creative media production
  • Good communications skill, presentation skills and good command of Chinese and English
  • Knowledge of video editing or studying media related disciplines is an advantage
  • Willing to learn and work in a team
