Hong Kong Family Welfare Society is collaborating with HKUST Connect, to organize a short tour for families with different backgrounds to visit HKUST. Volunteers will host and facilitate checkpoint games to strengthen family bonds, and introduce the campus to the families.
香港家庭福利會家福中心為全港首個提供開放式家庭服務及離異家庭服務的單位，致力協助區內家庭適應家庭轉變及建立支援網絡。機構將帶領屯門區單親、低收入或新來港家庭到訪科大校園，現招募義工幫忙接待及帶領集體遊戲，促進親子關係及培養家庭之間互助精神。
Description
Remarks:
- Volunteers are required to attend a briefing session at 6:30 - 7:30pm on 13 Apr 2023 (Thu) in HKUST.
- The event involves outdoor activities, participants suffering from any illness that renders them unfit for the activities should not apply for the event.
- [CORE1905] This is a recognized event in the "Self-directed Experience" component of CORE1905: Behavioral Foundations of University Education: Habits, Mindsets, and Wellness. You need to attend the event in full to get 4 hours.
- Upon completion of the service, the actual direct service hours will be subject to the confirmation of the partner association.
