After experiencing several years of pandemic restrictions, schools have been resumed to face-to-face learning. In order to help alleviate the impact of COVID-19 on their learning and students with high school curriculum, HKUST Connect is collaborating with Project WeCan to provide learning opportunities and care for students who are disadvantaged in learning, empowering them to pursue higher education. 

We are currently recruiting volunteers to prepare Form 5 students, including ethnic minorities, from HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No.3 Secondary School for the HKDSE exams in the coming year. The subjects to be taught include BAFS, Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics in English, as well as BAFS, Mathematics, and Physics in Chinese, taught separately for English and Cantonese-speaking students.

經歷了數年疫情限制後，本港中學已恢復全日面授課。為了協助減輕新冠肺炎疫情對他們學習的影響，更有效地應付高中課程，科大侍學行現招募科大同學為「學校起動計劃」下的其中一間中學──香港道教聯合會圓玄第三中學的中五學生，包括部份少數族裔生進行實體義補，包括以英文應試的數學、化學、生物及企業、會計與財務概論科，及以中文應試的數學、物理及企業、會計與財務概論科。義補會以英文應試和中文應試的學生分開教授。

*Volunteers are required to teach one subject at a time in one medium only.

Remarks:

1. Students are required to attend both days of service.
2. [CORE1905] This is a recognized event in the "Self-directed Experience" component of CORE1905: Behavioral Foundations of University Education: Habits, Mindsets, and Wellness. You need to attend the event in full to get 1 hour for briefing and 2 hours for each service session. Actual hours will be adjusted according to your attendance.
