Recycling bins in Hong Kong usually include plastic, glass and paper. Have you ever thought fo recycling berverage cartons too?
Mil Mill is the first pulp mill and education center that recycle beverage cartons in Hong Kong. They recycle beverage cartons and different kinds of paper into paper pulp. Apart from visiting the plant, you will also get a chance to make recycled paper! This is a rare opportunity for you to get to know more about how the plant works and discover the implications of the recycling industry. Grab this opportunity to deepen your understanding towards the green industry!
喵坊 Mil Mill是香港首間紙包飲品盒回收漿廠及教育中心，每日最多可處理約五十噸紙包飲品盒，製成再生漿。同時亦會回收各種廢紙，製成多樣再生紙品。透過參觀及參加工作坊讓同學了解紙包飲品的生產、回收及循環再造過程，認識綠色工業。

This event is fully subsidized by HKUST Connect. If you are unable to participate in the event as schedule, you should send us a written notification to connect@ust.hk as soon as possible, but no later than 25 Aug 2022 (Wed) 2pm. Students who withdraw after the deadline or absent from the event will be charged a HKD120 program fee.
