Volunteers sharing their experience with secondary school students

Hong Kong students face various changes and challenges in their high school years. A study in 2016 has revealed that more than half of secondary school students displayed symptoms of depression, with key causes being stress from public examinations and concern about their future.

In view of this, 4 Connect Ambassadors for Community Engagement (Connect ACE) this year partner with Choi Hung Estate Catholic Secondary School to launch a service project aiming to support the high school students facing pressure caused by transition from Primary to Secondary level and heavy study load. Volunteers will play team sport with the high school students, provide survival tips in public exams, and assist them in exploring their study styles. We are currently recruiting volunteers to facilitate the activities and share your study tips to help the high school students coping with academic stress.
