How does it work?

Period	September 2023 - February 2024
Program requirements	Complete 1 community service Participate in 1 experience (such as simulation, community walk, etc.) Attend a debriefing session and submit a reflection of your Community GO journey
Bonus	Welcome gift: HKUST Changemaker water bottle or crossbody bag Certificate of Participation upon completion of the program
HMAW1905	Upon completion of recognized services and experiences, HMAW1905 course participants can earn course hours under "Self-Directed Experience". Please refer to the respective program for further details. Note that participants who are absent from the session for 10 minutes or more may not be eligible to earn the HMAW1905 course hours.

Financial Subsidy

Mrs Choi Ma Oi Kuen Students’ Holistic Development Scheme

The Scheme is designed to encourage students to engage in endorsed co-curricular programs, enabling them to learn beyond the classroom and make contributions to the community. It provides financial support to ensure that students who aspire for personal growth, community engagement and experiential learning opportunities can fully participate in the programs without facing financial disadvantages.

Participants of Community GO can apply for the Scheme to receive a subsidy. Priority will be given to recipients of the Tertiary Student Finance Scheme (TSFS) government grant & loan.
