HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No. 3 Secondary School

Partnering with the local charitable organization Project WeCan, 12 HKUST volunteers spent a day mentoring 30 students from HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No. 3 Secondary School.
In the morning, the volunteers led an engaging STEM workshop, teaching the students to construct and program a self-driving car. The hands-on activity allowed the younger students to explore their creativity and problem-solving skills. In the afternoon, the HKUST volunteers first took the students to watch part of the Underwater Robot Competition happening on campus. They then guided the students on a tour of different university facilities, sharing insights about life at HKUST. Through these activities, the volunteers aimed to inspire and motivate the students to unlock their full potential.
