Exploration in Butterfly Reserve 探索蝴蝶園 (Sep 2022)

Join us to preserve Fung Yuen, one of the best places to appreciate butterflies in South East Asia! Volunteers will help clean the conservation area and maintain the butterfly habitat that houses over 200 species of butterflies, while learning more about the work of the Reserve.

鳳園蝴蝶保育區內蝴蝶品種超過200種，佔全港蝴蝶品種達八成，不單是香港及亞洲熱門賞蝶地點，更被漁農自然護理署列為「具特殊科學價值地點」。義工將協助維持保育區內生態，包括但不限於種植有利蝴蝶及幼蟲的植物、移除保育區內薇金菊、清理垃圾或進行蝴蝶基線調查及研究，並透過導賞活動了解機構保育工作及區內生態價值。

# If the weather is unstable 2 hours before the event commences, the event will be cancelled or postponed.

Remarks:
1. [CORE1905] This is a recognized event in the "Self-directed Experience" component of CORE1905: Behavioral Foundations of University Education: Habits, Mindsets, and Wellness. You need to attend the event in full to get 3 hours.

2. Upon completion of the service, the actual direct service hours will be subjected to the confirmation of the partner organization.

3. [Changemaker 30] 3 Points will be awarded upon complete attendance of the session for Changemaker 30 registrants.
