The Boys’ & Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA) is dedicated to the welfare of children and youth. They hope to achieve a balanced and happy environment for the nurturing and growth of the youth - physically, intellectually and emotionally.
Adopting an online-community-based and net-generation-oriented approach, Nite Cat Online (Cyber Youth Support Team) utilises Information Technology (IT) and communication tools to provide online and offline counselling, personal growth groups, training on digital creativity and talent development for youth in disadvantaged conditions. The progam also establishes interdisciplinary collaborations with community stakeholders and organisations to promote social inclusion and create a youth-friendly environment for the net-generation. The organization is now recruiting HKUST students to be a Nite Cat Ambassador and volunteer to facilitate and assist the program.
